The second best apartment in Krakow that we would like to recommend is located in Salwator, a traditional and respectable Krakow gentry neighborhood, in a historical building with antique iron double doors made by a Krakow craftsman Alfred Dębski in 1930. Salwator is widely regarded as one of the best areas to live in Krakow, as it offers privacy and peace, in the same time allowing to walk everywhere in the city center within 20 minutes. Salwator is also a very green area, close to Vistula River riverbanks and Błonia - a large recreational meadow in the middle of Krakow city center, where the Pope John Paul II led famous masses. Many famous polish actors and professors live there because of the unique blend of central location and peace. You will be able to do shopping on a local market called Plac Na Stawach (Square on the Ponds), reach Main Square in 10 minutes (it is just 950 meters away on foot), reach Wawel Castle in 5 minutes and Kazimierz in 20 minutes (and you can go either through the historical city center or by Vistula riverbank there).
The design of the apartment is breathtaking. We can honestly say that this kind of luxury and classic design was so far only available in the most expensive Krakow hotels - but in this Apartment you can enjoy it for a fraction of the price :) British Racing Green walls, gold details, continental bed, a marble fireplace and one of the prettiest classic bathrooms we have ever seen. The apartment is very private and quiet, and you can enjoy green view (trees and plants) out of the window. It is also managed by Tyzenhauz Apartments agency, and that guarantees the top class service. The led tv is equipped with Anycast (Chromecast) which is awesome - it allows you to connect your phone wirelessly to the tv and enjoy your Netflix, HBO or any service you are using. There is a fully equipped kitchen (but you will be probably enjoying Krakow restaurants anyway).
